From the Wildman family, a photo of employees at the Ávalos smelter including at the front far right, Horatio Wildman, Sr., Superintendent of the Mill from 1946-1954. In their description of the photo, the family said, “The one picture for which we’ve been unable to do anything (except for identifying Horatio, Sr.) is an interesting picture of several gentlemen at Ávalos. Yola (Wildman) thinks they might be part of a contingent from ASARCO in New York who would come down for inspections and events occasionally, but she’s not sure. Maybe they are even from the Ávalos community?”
Does anyone have thoughts as to who these men are?
